Eau de cologne is considered to be a perfumery and cosmetic product based on an aqueous-alcoholic solution, which contains at least 60% alcohol and from 1.5% of an aromatic composition. Cologne has active disinfecting properties, therefore it has established itself as a classic after-shave care product for men.
Hygienic colognes are intended for cleansing, disinfecting and aromatizing the skin. As an after-shave, cologne is used neat or diluted: 1-2 tablespoons of the care product in a glass of water.
